Summary
This study tested a modified jaw surgery (Le Fort I osteotomy) in 9 adults with cleft lip and palate who also had a misaligned bite and a bone gap in the upper jaw. The surgery aimed to improve facial profile and close the bone gap. Researchers measured changes in the bone defect and how closely the surgical result matched the planned movement.
