Summary

This study tested a modified jaw surgery (Le Fort I osteotomy) in 9 adults with cleft lip and palate who also had a misaligned bite and a bone gap in the upper jaw. The surgery aimed to improve facial structure and reduce the size of the bone defect. Researchers measured changes using 3D scans taken before and 6 months after surgery.
