Heart valve study seeks to identify hidden High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT06789211
Summary
This study aims to understand how patients with moderate mixed aortic valve disease fare compared to those with severe valve problems. Researchers will follow 1,900 patients to see if those with moderate disease might benefit from earlier valve repair or replacement surgery. The goal is to identify which patients are at higher risk and might need intervention sooner than current guidelines suggest.
