Robotic knee aims to help amputees walk better

NCT ID NCT04799145

Summary

This small study tested a new powered, computer-controlled knee prosthesis (the Mobili Knee) on six adults with above-knee leg amputations. The goal was to see if the new knee improved their walking speed, balance, and ability to do daily tasks compared to their usual prosthetic knee. Participants performed timed walking and balance tests with both their own knee and the new investigational device.
