NCT ID NCT06205368

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a mobile app called Combine to help gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men in rural southern US get tested for HIV and STIs and start taking PrEP (a daily pill that prevents HIV). About 473 men will use the app and be placed into one of four groups: some get just the app, others can also order home test kits, some get a motivational interview, and some get both. Researchers will compare the groups to see which approach works best for increasing testing and PrEP use over 24 months.
