First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a mobile app called Combine to see if it helps rural men who have sex with men get tested for HIV and STIs and start taking PrEP (a daily pill that prevents HIV). About 473 men in the rural southern U.S. will use the app and be assigned to one of four groups, some with extra features like free home test kits or coaching calls. The goal is to find the best way to increase prevention behaviors over two years.
