MRI on wheels: new portable scanner aims to bring brain imaging to more people
NCT ID NCT06203626
Summary
This study is testing a new, portable, and quieter type of MRI scanner that can be driven to communities. Researchers want to see if this mobile scanner works as well as the large, standard MRI machines at hospitals for finding brain problems like stroke or tumors. They are enrolling 200 people, including both healthy adults and those with neurological symptoms, to compare images from both types of scanners.
