Can a phone app get young cancer survivors moving?
NCT ID NCT04765241
Summary
This study is testing whether a mobile health program can help young adult cancer survivors become more physically active. Researchers are enrolling about 320 survivors in Alberta who finished cancer treatment within the last year. One group will receive a personalized activity plan, a fitness tracker, text message support, and access to an online community, while the other gets basic educational information, to see which approach works better over a year.
