Phone app teams up caregivers and doctors to fight high blood pressure in dementia
NCT ID NCT05850416
Summary
This study is testing a mobile app called mGlide-Care, designed to help family caregivers better manage high blood pressure in loved ones with early memory loss or dementia. The app connects caregivers with healthcare providers to share blood pressure readings and coordinate care. Researchers want to see if this team-based, tech-supported approach works better than usual care at controlling blood pressure and reducing the risk of stroke and further cognitive decline.
