Can your phone help fight addiction? app trial seeks answers

NCT ID NCT06208839

Summary

This study tested whether adding a mobile app to standard primary care could better help people reduce risky drug or alcohol use. About 117 adults with moderate to high-risk substance use were assigned to receive either the app plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal was to see if the digital tools helped people cut down on substance use and connect to treatment more successfully.
