NCT ID NCT05797155
Summary
This study tested a smartphone app called Support2Quit, designed to help people quit smoking by creating mental discomfort with their smoking habits. Researchers compared the app to a simpler version without this specific feature in 437 adult daily smokers who wanted to quit. They measured whether people using the special app had more success quitting or cutting back on cigarettes over three months.
