Doctors test lifesaving shots for kids with new hearts

NCT ID NCT07195032

Summary

This study is checking if the standard measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is safe and works well for children who have had a heart transplant. It will involve 60 children and teenagers, aged 1 to 17, who are at least one year past their transplant. Researchers will give the standard vaccine and then monitor for any side effects and check if the children develop protective immunity against these diseases.
