New pill tested for severe depression in Final-Stage trial

Summary
This study is testing an oral medication called MM120 for adults with major depressive disorder. About 140 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks, followed by a 40-week period where all participants may receive the drug. The main goal is to see if MM120 is safe and more effective than a placebo at reducing depression symptoms.
