New anxiety pill enters final testing phase

Summary

This study is testing whether an oral medication called MM120 can help reduce symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). About 375 adults with moderate to severe anxiety will take either MM120 or a placebo for 12 weeks, followed by a 40-week period where everyone may receive the active medication. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety symptoms, quality of life, and safety throughout the year-long study.
