Summary

This study followed 162 Medicare patients with heart failure and a leaky mitral valve who received the MitraClip device. The goal was to see how safe and effective the device was in real-world settings after initial research showed promise. Researchers tracked whether the device helped reduce deaths, strokes, and hospitalizations for heart failure.
