First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how a device called MitraClip affects the heart's shape and function in people with severe mitral regurgitation (a leaky heart valve). Fifty-four patients had heart scans before, right after, and 6 months after the procedure. The goal was to see if the heart remodels (changes size and function) after the valve is repaired.
