First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether taking MitoQ, a dietary supplement that targets cell powerhouses (mitochondria), for 3 months can improve blood flow to the brain in healthy women aged 60 and older who have gone through menopause. Researchers will compare MitoQ to a placebo to see if it reduces harmful molecules that may damage arteries. Participants take a daily capsule and undergo brain blood flow tests at the start, midpoint, and end of the study.
