First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a new type of vaccine made from engineered mitochondria (the cell's powerhouses) that carry a tumor-specific antigen. It is for people with advanced solid tumors like lung or colorectal cancer who have no other good treatment options. The main goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and tolerable, and to get an early look at whether it can shrink or control tumors.
