Summary
This study tests a new tool to help intensive care doctors have fairer conversations with families of patients on breathing machines. The goal is to see if the tool is practical and acceptable to doctors, and whether it can reduce racial differences in how decisions are made. About 106 doctors and patients will take part at Duke University.
