Mistletoe vs. chemo: bladder cancer trial halted early
NCT ID NCT02106572
First seen May 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a mistletoe extract placed directly into the bladder could delay cancer return better than standard chemotherapy in 174 people with early-stage bladder cancer. The trial was stopped early, so results are limited. The approach focuses on controlling the disease rather than curing it.
