Breathing treatment could stop Kids' tonsil surgery bleeding without more operations

NCT ID NCT06580509

Summary

This study is testing if a special mist medicine, inhaled through a nebulizer, can safely stop bleeding in children who have had their tonsils removed. The goal is to see if this approach works well enough to help kids avoid a second surgery to control the bleeding. Researchers will enroll about 12 children aged 2 to 17 who come to the emergency room with bleeding more than a day after their tonsil surgery.
