Common drug could make fibroid surgery safer

Summary
This study is testing if a pill called misoprostol can reduce bleeding during surgery to remove uterine fibroids. It will involve 80 women in France who are having this surgery. Researchers will compare blood loss in women who take misoprostol versus a placebo pill before their operation.
