First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested two different therapies—mirror therapy and modified constraint-induced movement therapy—on 36 stroke survivors to see which better reduces fall risk and improves balance and walking. Participants were sub-acute or chronic stroke patients aged 21-70 with mild to moderate impairment. The goal was to find a simple, effective way to help stroke patients move more safely.
