Mirror trick may ease stroke Patients' pain
NCT ID NCT07428811
Summary
This study is testing a simple therapy to help people who have had a stroke and now suffer from shoulder-hand syndrome, which causes pain, swelling, and limited arm movement. Researchers will have 34 participants use a mirror while doing specific hand and arm tasks for 30 minutes a day over four weeks to see if it reduces their pain and swelling and helps them move their arm better. The goal is to find a better way to manage these difficult symptoms after a stroke.
