Summary
This study tests whether mirabegron, a drug used for overactive bladder, can also help treat dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Researchers will compare mirabegron to another bladder drug (solifenacin) in 312 people aged 50-80 who have both dry AMD and overactive bladder. Participants take the drug daily for 12 months and have checkups every 6 months to see if their retina improves.
