Summary

This study looked at whether adding the antibiotic minocycline to standard mesalamine therapy can better control ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease. Forty-six adults with mild to moderate UC took part. The main goal was to measure changes in disease activity using a symptom scoring system.
