New pill tested for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT03760523

Summary

This early-stage study tested a pill called Minnelide in adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) had returned or didn't respond to prior treatments. The main goal was to find the highest safe dose and see how well the body tolerates it. Researchers also looked for signs that the drug might help control the cancer.
