New Less-Invasive heart surgery trial aims to speed recovery

NCT ID NCT07314138

Summary

This study compares two surgical approaches for patients with severe blockages in all three main heart arteries. Researchers want to see if a less invasive 'hybrid' procedure (combining small-incision bypass with artery stenting) leads to fewer complications and faster recovery than traditional open-chest bypass surgery. The trial will follow 250 patients to measure recovery time, complications, and long-term heart health outcomes.
