Less bleeding, faster recovery? new hip surgery method tested
NCT ID NCT01427036
Summary
This study compared two surgical methods for repairing hip fractures in people over 65. It tested whether a newer, less invasive technique causes less bleeding during and after surgery than the standard method. The goal was to see if the new method leads to a simpler recovery, shorter hospital stays, and lower costs while being just as effective.
