New 'No-Touch' heart surgery aims to reduce stroke risk

NCT ID NCT07172620

Summary

This study compares two less-invasive heart bypass surgery methods for patients with severe coronary artery disease. Researchers want to see if a new 'no-touch' technique, which avoids handling a major artery in the chest, is as safe and effective as a standard minimally invasive approach. The main goal is to check if blood vessels stay open after surgery and to reduce risks like stroke and surgical complications.
