Can ditching your regular shoes make your feet stronger?
NCT ID NCT07452718
Summary
This study aimed to see if wearing minimalist shoes (thin, flexible, flat shoes) for everyday activities over a year changes foot health compared to regular shoes. Researchers measured foot muscle size and strength, balance, and foot sensitivity in 90 healthy adults. One group wore minimalist shoes for at least 4 hours daily, while the other wore their usual shoes.
