NCT ID NCT07452718

First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at whether wearing minimalist (barefoot-style) shoes for a long time changes foot health in healthy adults. 90 participants were split into two groups: one wore minimalist shoes, the other wore regular shoes. Researchers measured foot muscle size, balance, pressure, and skin sensitivity. The goal was to gather information, not to treat any disease.
