Less anesthesia, same safety: new study on kidney stone surgery

Summary
This study looked at two ways of giving anesthesia during kidney stone surgery. 62 adults were split into two groups: one got a very low gas flow (minimal-flow) and the other a slightly higher flow (low-flow). The main goal was to see how much anesthesia medicine was used. The study found that minimal-flow anesthesia used less medicine and was just as safe and effective as low-flow anesthesia.
