Tiny camera could let doctors fix shoulder pain in their office
NCT ID NCT05370183
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive way to perform a common shoulder surgery. Doctors are comparing cutting a painful biceps tendon using a tiny camera in a clinic office versus doing the same procedure in a full operating room. The goal is to see if the simpler office procedure works just as well for pain relief and recovery while being more convenient and potentially less costly.
