Summary
This study looked at whether a type of talk therapy called Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) can help people who have had a liver transplant stay motivated and take their anti-rejection medicine as prescribed. 140 adult liver transplant recipients took part. The goal was to see if MBCT improves how well patients follow their medication schedule, which is crucial for keeping their new liver healthy.
