This study tested a mindfulness-based text messaging program called 'iQuit Mindfully' to help adults quit smoking. Over 500 smokers who wanted to quit within 30 days took part. The program was tested both alone and with in-person counseling, and researchers checked if participants stayed smoke-free for up to 24 weeks.
