First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily arm-cuff treatment (remote ischemic conditioning) plus mindfulness training can lower the risk of heart attacks, heart failure, and chest pain in 2,000 adults with coronary artery disease who still have blocked arteries after treatment. Participants will be followed for several years to see if the combination reduces serious heart events.
