Researchers seek feedback on mental health tool for rare cancer risk syndrome

NCT ID NCT07032922

Summary

This study aimed to gather feedback on how to adapt a mindful self-compassion program for young adults living with Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS), a genetic condition that greatly increases cancer risk. A small group of participants attended a demonstration of the program and shared their thoughts on making it helpful for people with LFS. The goal was to learn how to design a future mental health resource, not to test if the program worked.
