Summary
This study tested a new program designed to help family caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and related dementias. The program taught mindfulness, self-compassion, and practical skills to manage the stress and difficult behaviors that come with caregiving. Researchers worked with a small group of 13 caregivers to see if the program was practical to run and acceptable to participants.
