Summary
This study tested a special type of meditation that focuses on death to see if it could help young adults (ages 18-29) reduce their smartphone addiction. 259 participants were split into two groups: one did death-focused meditation, the other did regular mindfulness meditation. The goal was to see if thinking about death could make people more aware and less dependent on their phones.
