Brain-Targeting combo therapy tested for youth depression
NCT ID NCT07464886
Summary
This study is testing if combining mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (a talk therapy) with a supplement called N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is better than either one alone for helping young people (ages 15-24) with mild depression. Researchers will use brain scans to see how these treatments affect brain chemistry and connections. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage depression symptoms in youth.
