Can ancient art recharge your cells? study probes mindfulness and DNA
NCT ID NCT07261111
Summary
This pilot study aims to see if a specific mindfulness practice involving Tao calligraphy art can change the level of mitochondrial DNA in a person's white blood cells. Researchers will enroll 50 adults to practice the mindfulness routine daily for a year, tracking changes in their blood and quality of life surveys over time. The goal is to gather initial data on whether this mind-body practice has a measurable biological effect at the cellular level.
