Can a biology class teach students to stress less?
NCT ID NCT06423053
Summary
This study tested whether adding mindfulness practice to a 10-week college biology course could help students manage stress. 76 undergraduate students were randomly assigned to either take the special 'Mindful Physiology' course or be placed on a waitlist. Researchers measured students' stress levels, confidence in handling stress, and their physical reactions to a stressful task before and after the course.
