Mindfulness in classrooms cuts student stress, study shows
NCT ID NCT05787483
Summary
This study tested whether a school-based mindfulness program called MindUP could help improve mental health and reduce stress for middle school students. Researchers worked with 68 fifth and sixth graders at underserved schools to see if the program lowered anxiety, improved attention, and reduced stress-related hormones measured in saliva. The goal was to provide accessible mental health support through schools, where most students already are.
