Can mindfulness break the link between academic success and poor health?
NCT ID NCT05846282
Summary
This study is testing if a mindfulness program can help high-achieving high school students from diverse backgrounds who are under a lot of stress. The researchers want to see if learning mindfulness skills can reduce the negative health effects, like anxiety and physical strain, that can come from constantly pushing for academic success. They will compare the mindfulness program to a standard study skills course to see which is better for students' long-term mental and physical health.
