Summary

This study tested whether adding mindfulness training to standard residential treatment helps people with opioid addiction. Researchers compared people who received standard treatment plus mindfulness training to those who received standard treatment alone. The goal was to see if mindfulness helped people stay on their medication and avoid using drugs after leaving the treatment program.
