Can meditation calm anxiety and protect memory?

NCT ID NCT03005652

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week mindfulness course could reduce anxiety and improve mental wellbeing in older adults who are worried about their memory but still test normally. Researchers compared the mindfulness program to a health education course in 168 participants across Europe. The goal was to see if managing anxiety could help slow future memory decline.
