Can a phone app ease pain after hip surgery?
NCT ID NCT05335421
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily mindfulness program delivered through a phone app can help people recover better after hip surgery. Researchers want to see if the 8-week program reduces pain, improves hip function, and boosts quality of life for up to two years after the operation. The study involves 128 patients who are randomly assigned to either use the mindfulness app or follow standard recovery care.
