Mindfulness eases anxiety before breast cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT07221071
Summary
This study tested whether a brief mindfulness program could help women feel less anxious and improve their emotional wellbeing before and after breast cancer surgery. Researchers worked with 42 women who were scheduled for surgery, having them use mindfulness exercises and complete surveys about their anxiety and quality of life. The goal was to see if this simple, tech-based support could become a helpful routine part of preparing for surgery.
