Mindfulness training tested to help people take their blood pressure meds

NCT ID NCT03924531

Summary

This study tested whether a mindfulness training program could help people with high blood pressure better follow their doctor's advice. Researchers worked with 36 adults who had trouble sticking to their medication, diet, and exercise plans. They compared a six-week mindfulness course to a basic attention-control program to see which helped people manage their condition more consistently.
