Summary

This study tests whether an 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) course can reduce back pain and improve daily functioning compared to usual care. It involves 120 working-age adults (18–64) with back pain lasting over 12 weeks. Participants are followed for 2 years to see if mindfulness offers lasting relief.
